*Withdrawals after these dates are not possible and will result in a 'Fail' on your academic record.
Please note that changes have been made to the withdrawal dates for Intensive units (to be known from 2012 as 'Intensive Face-to-face').
In the past many intensive units have been timetabled to run in special ‘study periods’ which means students have been able to withdraw prior to the start of class. From 2012 ‘intensive face-to-face’ units will be scheduled within the normal trimester. This means the units will open at the start of trimester and that normal trimester withdrawal census periods will apply. The CGSB will communicate with you more on this point should you elect to study in ‘intensive face to face’ mode.
Please make note of the following:
- Prior to sending through your application, please read through the information presented in the How to Apply section of the CGSB site.
- International students must apply through the Curtin International Office.
- A census date is the date at which an enrolment is considered to be final. Withdrawals after the census date will incur an academic penalty (for example, a fail grade) and a financial penalty (for example, no refund of your student contribution or tuition fees).

- Part-time study and external study via online learning is only available to Australian Resident Students and international students studying outside Australia.
- Since 2007, the Amenities and Services Fee is a voluntary fee and will be linked to provision of prescribed optional amenities, services or facilities. The Fees Centre is located in the University's central administration building, Student Central, Building 101 on the Bentley Campus.
